Windows Format Help Empty Windows Format Help

I have a Compaq Evo N200 and i need to format Windows XP off of it, and windows says "Windows is unable to complete the format".
Here is some info on that computer.
System:
Microsoft Windows XP
Professional
Version 2002
Service Pack 2

Computer:
Intel(R) Pentium(R) III
Mobile CPU 700MHz
696 MHz, 192 MB of RAM.

Clearly states tommo that its xp.

I would reccomend getting help on this forum http://www.techwebsupport.com/ they are experts
